A community service initiative was conducted in Tunggulrejo Village, Blitar Regency, in June 2025. The program involved the village secretary, village officials, neighborhood association (RT), community association (RW), the Village Consultative Body, and the Village Community Empowerment Institution. Twenty-five participants attended this capacity-building training. The training was motivated by the significant tourism potential of Tunggulrejo Village, including attractions such as the Mount Kelud trekking and climbing track, Loji Pine Forest, and Mount Kawi, which are expected to draw numerous visitors. In addition to serving the local community, village officials must also be equipped to address the needs of tourists. As the most immediate level of government, the village administration plays a critical role in delivering essential services, particularly administrative support. Achieving high-quality service requires specific competencies, such as maintaining a professional appearance, demonstrating friendliness, responsiveness, impartiality, punctuality, responsibility, and proficiency in assigned tasks. Furthermore, service providers must be capable of managing complaints to ensure appropriate follow-up for any services perceived as unsatisfactory. Blitar Regency comprises 22 sub-districts, 220 villages, 28 urban villages, and 759 hamlets. In 2023, Tunggulrejo Village had a population of 2,435, with most residents engaged in farming and livestock activities.
Restu Karlina RahayuTia SubektiMayuko Galuh Mahardika

https://jurnal.umsrappang.ac.id/mallomo/article/view/2836

Seagrass ecosystems play a vital role in both the ecology and economy of coastal regions. Ecologically, seagrass beds serve as nursery grounds, spawning grounds, and feeding grounds for various aquatic organisms, particularly fish. However, the water conditions in Puntundo Village have suffered environmental degradation due to damage to the seagrass ecosystem and the community’s limited knowledge of seagrass rehabilitation techniques. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance the community’s understanding and skills in rehabilitating seagrass ecosystems using the plug and bamboo frame method in the coastal area of Laikang Village, Takalar Regency. The methods employed include outreach, training on seagrass planting media preparation, and a participatory approach involving the community from the preparation stage through to the implementation of the activity. The training was conducted on a community-based approach, adhering to international standards for seagrass rehabilitation through transplantation techniques. The results of the activity indicate that the partner groups have successfully carried out seagrass rehabilitation using the plug and bamboo frame methods. Monitoring revealed that seagrass on the bamboo frames partially dried out due to sun exposure during the lowest low tide, whereas the plug method provided better protection for the plants, resulting in lower levels of desiccation.
hamsiah HamsiahAsmidar asmidarKasmawati KasmawatiDamis, Damis

Optimal environmental conditions and domestic waste accumulation at MI Pakumbulan, Pekalongan, have hindered a conducive learning atmosphere. Additionally, insufficient water infiltration areas cause puddles during the rainy season, requiring integrated intervention. This community service activity aimed to optimize a healthy learning environment through waste management education, reforestation, and biopore infiltration holes. The program was implemented in three stages: socialization of 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) principles, practical planting of ornamental and productive flora, and technical training for installing biopores in flood-prone areas. Results indicated a significant increase in ecological awareness, established through an independent waste sorting system and expanded green spaces. The installation of 10 biopore points effectively improved groundwater absorption and provided organic composting sites. Both students and teachers demonstrated enhanced skills in plant care and productive waste management. This program successfully transformed the madrasah into a greener, healthier, and more educational environment. It is recommended that the school forms a "Green Guard" student team to ensure sustainability and integrates environmental values into the curriculum.
Nuniek Nizmah FajriyahHerni RejekiFirman FaradisiAdi SulistyoHusna Nur AfdilaNabila Nabila

https://jurnal.umsrappang.ac.id/mallomo/article/view/2779

The main problem in the Gelora Wisata area of Nepo Village is the low level of visitor awareness regarding cleanliness, despite the availability of trash bins. This leads to a buildup of trash, which disrupts the aesthetics and health of the environment. This community service activity aims to raise visitor awareness by installing educational boards on proper waste management. The methods used included field observation, identifying critical points of waste accumulation, and installing informative visual educational materials about waste decomposition times. The results of this activity demonstrated a change in visitor behavior, with visitors beginning to heed the instructions on the boards and utilizing the available trash bins. In conclusion, strengthening visual education has proven effective in stimulating behavioral change in the tourism area
Muhlis MuhlisNurcaya NurcayaDarmawan SanusiAhmad GhazaliSitti AminahBesse SulfianiIndra Pratama Ali AmanHikmah NurfadillahErviana AbdullahDwi Ahmadi Ahsari
