Copyright Statement

Authors who publish with Mallomo Journal of Health (MJH) agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright of their published work.
  2. Authors grant Mallomo Journal of Health (MJH) the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, preserve, and make the article publicly available in print and electronic formats.
  3. Articles published in MJH are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
  4. Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users are permitted to:

    • copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
    • adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material; and
    • use the material for any lawful purpose, including commercial use,

    provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the original publication in Mallomo Journal of Health, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made to the original work are clearly indicated.

  5. Authors may enter into additional non-exclusive contractual arrangements for the distribution of the published version of the article, such as depositing the article in an institutional repository, including it in a book, or distributing it for educational purposes, provided that the original publication in MJH is properly acknowledged.
  6. Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit:

    • the submitted manuscript;
    • the accepted manuscript; and
    • the published version of record

    in institutional repositories, personal academic websites, or other lawful repositories, provided that the published version is properly cited.

  7. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material, including figures, tables, photographs, instruments, or other materials owned by third parties.
  8. Copyright infringement, unauthorized reproduction, plagiarism, and other violations of intellectual property rights may be handled in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and applicable legal regulations.
